I’m yet to have something I didn’t find incredible here. We went for Mothers Day Brunch and they had a band, normally I’m not a fan of bands at restaurants as IMO they are generally too loud and play music I don’t care to hear, but the band they had had a great selection of covers you knew and kept the volume at a level where having a conversation at your table was easy. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place!!!! Best service as well as its sister restaurant, Foxhole Culinary Tavern! Do yourself a favor... go now unless they’re closed which wouldn’t do you any good. Sorry not sorry.

My husband and I came here for the first time 3/8/24. We had eyed this place before but due to my food issues, it didn’t seem like I could get much to eat. Well, they changed the menu since we looked a while ago. We gambled and decided to go. We showed up right at the end of happy hour, so a couple of things were a bit cheaper. So many things sounded great on the new menu but I wasn’t sure how they cooked them. I let our server Emily know so had a dairy issue and she sent Adam over to have a chat. We started with the Mesquite Smoked Brussels & the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta. Sorry we were hungry and I forgot the photos. I moved the cheese off the bruschetta and it was still delicious! I do not care for brussel sprouts but let me tell you, they sure were yummy! I had the Maryland Style Crab Cakes cooked in oil vs butter. The hubby had the Texas Carbonara and they were both delicious and we highly recommend both. They catered to my dairy issue, but if I paid attention to my minor gluten issue I think I would have struggled a bit. I could likely have had the Venison Lettuce Wraps but I didn’t check since I stopped Adam at the crab cakes. The atmosphere was pleasant, noise level just fine, bathrooms were clean. We will be back for sure! Thank you Emily and Adam for your help and excellent service!

We worked our way through the happy hour menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The tempura green beans were especially good, and the tacos were all seasoned to perfection. Don’t miss the Bavarian pretzel, hot out of the oven with a choice of queso or mustard—goes great with the Real McCoy (cocktail). Highly recommended!

UPDATE as of Sept 29: Had to come back and sit at the bar for dinner and general festivities. My wife and I got a couple of the last happy hour seats. Plenty of tables available. There was a large HH party next to the bar keeping things rolling. Plenty of regulars that make it fun. Alex and Cam were awesome. Enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak...A MUST HAVE! Excellent service, excellent food, fun patrons. Meet up and enjoy on a Friday evening. Boosting all stars to 5. Totally overcame the previous visit. Original Review: Popped in for an early dinner on Friday, September 8th...about 5pm. The parking lot was full so I thought they'd be packed but it was wide open. Got a booth immediately. We came here after having a beverage at elsewhere. Wanted a really good burger and was not disappointed. Full bar, varied menu, and decent atmosphere. It took a few minutes for someone to take our drink order but that gave my wife and I a chance to settle in. Dove straight into a dinner order with the Big Tex Burger and Buffalo Chicken Salad. I asked for medium and burger came out closer to medium well but the meat made up for that with a perfect level of juiciness. Excellent fat content for a fantastic mouth feel. The fries were great too...just above shoestring size. Loved them. The Buffalo sauce had a tangy zing to it but I think that's fairly standard for that type of sauce. Not a personal favorite but was tasty for sure. I remember having their salsa on a previous visit and it had a bite to it so they may tend to be on the spicy side for similar items...not enough data to be sure yet. I was craving dessert and was surprised that the server didn't offer anything. Usually servers are always trying to upsell so I'm not sure if I'm happy they didn't offer or not. As a matter of fact, the server brought the bill before asking if we wanted anything else...not another round of drinks, no dessert, no water, nothing. None the less I soldiered on, opened a new tab, and ordered Cheesecake and coffee. The cheesecake must have been frozen. You can tell when it's not fresh. Was disappointed but the flavor hit the spot even if the texture didn't. The server was friendly and attentive but seemed rushed, like she was trying to turn the table. There was a short wait by the time we finished dinner but the apparent rushing was all dinner long. The prices were as expected for this day and age. Looks like a nice atmosphere for HH and/or dinner at the bar. I'm sure the service was an anomaly. Want to come back and try the Country Fried Steak! Overall, I liked it.

We came this past Sunday and I ordered a country steak which was cooked perfectly and very crunchy on the outside. We had never been here and to our surprise, there was a fantastic live band performing they told us they play every other Sunday, which immediately made us want to plan our next visit.

Great Bar with great menu. Local beers and bourbon is a plus. Charbroiled oysters and big cubes for cocktails. The bartender, Sofia has a great smile!
